Refund & Cancellation Policy
This page sets out the cancellation and refund terms for Sumilca's paid features. Core features such as rankings, scores and comparisons are free, so please make sure the service fits your needs before purchasing.
Try Sumilca for free before you buy
Sumilca's core features (property rankings, scores and comparisons) are free to use after signing up. Please confirm the service meets your needs before purchasing any paid feature.
Paid features are currently in preparation. We will announce the launch date on the pricing page once ready. The cancellation, return and refund terms below apply to paid features once they launch.
- Premium plan: JPY 980/month (tax included), auto-renewing, cancellable at any time
- PDF report: JPY 380 (tax included) per report, a one-time digital product
Contract form (Premium monthly plan)
The Premium plan is a monthly auto-renewing subscription processed by Stripe (Stripe's subscription billing). It becomes effective when the first payment completes and renews monthly until cancelled.
Payments are processed by Stripe; your card number is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Cancellation
You can cancel the Premium plan at any time from the settings page (Premium / Billing). Cancel before your next renewal date and you will not be charged again.
After cancelling, Premium remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for. No pro-rated refunds are given for mid-period cancellations.
Returns and refunds
Because our paid features are digital content and services, we do not, as a rule, offer returns or refunds after delivery.
A PDF report is considered delivered once it has been generated. If generation fails, that purchase is not consumed (it automatically becomes available again).
However, in the following cases we may, at our discretion and after reviewing the situation, take appropriate measures (regeneration, refund, etc.). This never constitutes a guarantee of refund.
- A paid feature is clearly unusable despite a successfully completed payment
- A delivered product is found to be materially defective due to our fault
Defects and outages
If a serious defect occurs while you are using the service, we will provide support where possible. If the cause is attributable to us, we will take appropriate measures such as fixes, regeneration or alternatives.
Disclaimer
Scores, rankings and reports provided by Sumilca are reference information only; final decisions about property purchases or contracts are your own responsibility. Refunds are not given on the basis of the content of such reference information.
The service may change, add features or be discontinued without notice.
